Pop-out video or picture-in-picture (PIP) is a feature of Hopin Session. You can pop out and load your video in a small and floating popup outside of the current window.
Once popped out, the floating window remains active even if you switch to a different tab or window and will be displayed on top of them. This allows you to keep an eye on the session while interacting with other sites, or applications.
Please note that if you close the Session tab, the floating popup window will be closed too.
How to Pop Out Video in a Session Room
- Join/Enter a Session Room
- Click on the drop up icon (^) next to the video settings icon
- Click Pop out videos
Tip: You can resize the pop out window to make it larger or smaller.
Once you pop out your video, you will only be able to see a maximum of three people who are talking on the screen.
How to Close the Pop-Out Video
There are two different ways in which you can close the pop-out video window. You can close it using the same steps that were used to enable the feature. You can also close it from the pop out window as well. Here are the steps to the latter:
- Place your cursor on the pop out window
- Click on 1) Back to tab or 2) click on the close button (x) to close the window
That's it!
